Banjoo-Tooie Hitting XBLA Soon!

Tags: , , , , , , ,

The sequel to the N64 title Banjo-Kazooie will be hitting the XBLA this early 2009. Just like Banjo-Kazooie, which released for the XBLA late 2008, the game will be nearly identical to the original with upped graphics and improved frame rate. We will assume the price tag on this nostalgic beauty will be around 800-1200 (10-15$) Microsoft Points. More news coming as it happens!

Enjoy!

Rare Increased Text Size for Banjo

Tags: , , , , , , ,

Rare has finally released a patch that has increased the size of the font that appears through the game. Before, the text was not large enough to be read clearly, or atleast without squinting. Although Rare said the text would not be fixed, I guess they changed their minds.

Good news for BK-N&B fans.

Enjoy!

Banjoo-Kazooie, the 1998 platformer hit, is now delayed until December 3rd for release on the Xbox Live Arcade. The game will feature a new control scheme, compared to the original Nintendo 64 game, and HD graphics. There will be no there will be no additional content that was not on the original game. Microsoft says they delayed the release, from November 26th, because of problems with pro-orders of the full retail Banjo game, Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts. People that preordered the full game, got a code for the XBLA for free, 2 weeks before the public release of the XBLA game. Due to shipping errors, and the codes not arriving to many costumers, Microsoft is extending the "Exclusivity" period another week. Once again, the game will be available via XBLA on December 3rd for 1200 Microsoft Points (15$ USD).
